Bunnies!

I made these bunnies for Ernest in Christmas 2006. I don't have the pattern so I can't share that with you. I check just recently at Jo-Ann's in the pattern books, and couldn't find it so they must be discontinued.

Ernest loves bunnies, the color blue and things that are soft. These bunnies covered all 3 items! I love how the bunny friends arms are long and skinny (they are not stuffed) so that they can wrap their arms around each other. The second fat bunny is filled with micro beads. Filling him was a horror. Those little micro beads clung to EVERYTHING. I finally filled Mr. Bunny and it was worth it, he is so squishy and soft.

Here is my scissors (covered in micro beads!)

Recovering the Chairs

I don't think this counts as crafting or sewing,
but since I used fabric, I'm including it!

We have really nice bar stools for our kitchen, but after a while (with two boys and a little girl) the covers looked horrible. I bought some fabric from Jo-ann's, whipped out my staple gun and Viola! Well, not exactly... I had to pull out about 100 staples first, which was NOT fun. I think the chairs turned out great and I made sure to spray them with scotch guard before we used them!

Hooray for Headbands

I found Heather Bailey's awesome site with this cool free pattern and had to make it. It's my headband, but Hannah is much cuter so she modeled it for me :)
